I am trying to repair my CJ3A battery tray. It has been hacked and, it is rusting out. I purchased a new tray from KW. It is supposed to be for a CJ-3A. It is however not as tall and, not as long. It is not an exact replica as far as the shape. Close but not the same in the front especially. I have attached a few photos. Can anybody shed a little light on how I might proceed? If it will work I am considering it. I also thought about just cutting it up and welding the top on only. That still leaves the cut up portion of the front corner. Does anyone know where I can find one that's closer to the original I have?
