    Oil pressure gauge

I'm restoring 1948 CJ2A and I need to locate where on the L134 engine block to place the Oil Pressure Gauge metal line. I bought a replacement Oil Pressure gauge kit and it has both flex and metal lines. I'm assuming the flex line is attached to the gauge itself. Thank you for the help20181008_131920.jpg

On the driver's side of the engine block, bellow the tappet cover, there is a series of three pipe plugs starting at the front of the engine in a line. The fourth threaded hole closest to the transmission side, there will be a 90 degree brass fitting. There is a rubber hose with brass fittings that attaches to the fitting. The steel line goes in between the gauge and the rubber hose. The hose is designed to take up the flex of the engine torque twisting.

Thank you gmwillys. I've seen that port you are referring to. Should I use any type of sealant on the fittings?
