Tore a weather seal during install, what's the best glue to use?

Installed a couple new rear hatch weather seals today and ended up with a couple small tears in the first one. Just wondered what was the best thing to use to glue the tore spots? Added some photos of the before and after just for grins!

We use Loctite super glue to repair cut or torn seals on combat vehicles. It bonds with the rubber, and isn't noticeable after it cures.

If the Loctite super glue is good enough to repair seals on an overpressure system designed to keep out chemicals or biological matter, it's good enough for a Jeep seal.
