    1947 CJ2A with an F-head motor

My 47 CJ2A that I got from my uncle has an early F-head motor in it. to make it fit he cut a hole in the hood and made a fiberglass "cowl" induction for it. I would like to go back to the original hood without the cowl hood or replacing the motor. Has anyone done this on their CJ2A, and how did it work out? Thanks!

    Welcome JJ0225,

It has been done before without chopping through the hood. Some have gone with a body lift to gain clearance, while others have fabricated a new air horn to make the needed room.
