Willys MB - Rear bench seat popped out

Rear bench seat has popped out of joints on each side; any special “tricks” to get it back in?

I found a good video from G503/ Ron Fitzpatrick that covers the ins and outs of the MB rear seat. I would assume that the rear seat pivot mount has popped out of the saddle, (i.e. missing the angle iron keeper) or missing the rear back rest hook guides that mount to the rear body wall.

Pop up a photo to help me figure out exactly what you have going on.

Just hijacking a thread for a bit:

On one of those Facebook feeds you get from who knows where, there was a post from a guy in the UK who had an MB/GPW block with cracks in the block from a stud down into the valve seat. He took it over to a shop in Belgium (yeah, across the English Channel) where they bored out the cracked area, inserted a plug and remachined a valve seat. That was an impressive labor of love to salvage an L-head block!

I love it when they save them like that. An effective fix to save a piece of history.
