    CJ 5 body mount points

I am mounting a 56 CJ5 tub on a 57 Frame. I didn’t think there would be any differences but am having a hard time seeing where the tub mounts to the rear brace/bumper go? I did purchase a new brace/bumper and installed it so maybe I need to add some holes. Before I started drilling I wanted get some advice?

The other question I have is the body lines at the back do not lign up with the end of the bumper with the front 5 mounts in place? The body looks square but I’m lookin for some suggestions?

I added some pictures of both sides and the overall back. 4F01A080-5B24-4FA7-98A6-04737104E93E.jpg87BB6389-DF0D-4F72-8EE8-B61F4F184C7C.jpg6624496D-4808-4EC6-BB14-E458A263A03B.jpg

If you are working with a Repro-Tub kit, some fitting and drilling will most definitely be required. But I am going to bet gmwillys has done this before on a CJ5.

From what I can tell this is an original 56 tub with the tag on itBE02AA6E-7602-4CE0-B213-55F0FE5DE71D.jpg, everything on the front 5 mounts lined up, (one in drivers area, 2 in passenger area and 1 each side over the leaf springs)

So I think you are correct this must be a Repo-Tub, I looked at the differences from my old cowel an the new one. I think this will work but will more work. LOL. I still need to figure out the heater. Here are some pictures to show the differences.

The rear of the tub is supposed to be drilled for the bolts to come through the top of the rear cross member. I'm in agreeance, it is probably a replica tub, looking closer to the photos.
