Just bought a M170 Ambulance "needs restored but"

Need seat frames and soft top ? Hello, I just found a M170 Ambulance (stretched M38a1) runs and drives but needs alot. I've messed with some flat fenders 10 or more years ago but new to this type. Any ideas on original style front seat frames for this guy and top?
    Thank you

Congratulations on your purchase, and welcome to the forum.

On a specialty Willys like a M170, I would look at my friends over at Quarter ton and Military for the seat frames. The canvas I would look up Beachwood Canvas for made to spec, authentic canvas.
Please post some pictures, we would sure like to see your Jeep.

Great! Thanks for the Info. I will post some pics soon , it’s got a long way to go but pretty solid . Original engine converted to 12volt but runs great “easy to start” Evan after setting awhile.

The front seats are the holy grail, along with the gas tank, top frame. I just "barn yard restored" my Marine Corps Radio Jeep. I found that 2 m38a1 passenger seats would fit on both sides. I had to add pegs to the right sides of the back bottom of the frame.

I had to place the passenger seat farther back because of the hand brake placement.

Hope this helps..........mine was a rea learning experience.

I have a frame for the top which I bought on ebay. It had been fabricated by the seller.
