Back in the early '60's, J. C. Whitney and Warshawsky (spelling?) operated out of the same address somewhere in Chicago. Their parts kept the '48 running during those early years.

I still remember one item in their catalog - the Burmese Gas Snake. You dropped it in your gas tank and it ate the mileage and power robbing yellow gas molecules out of your fuel. I always wondered just what you might have gotten if you ordered one?
