Ok so the C-53 is a personnel carrier(skytrooper), converted from a commercial DC-3 airliner, the C-47 is the cargo hauler version.

Someone wanted pictures, so while I was at the hanger today I took a few. Here ya go20210206_112324.jpg20210206_112310.jpg20210206_112245.jpg20210206_112227.jpg20210206_112125.jpg

    Very cool!!!!!!

I am not sure why some of your attachments aren't working. The ones that are are unreal. The facebook link did work. Cool stuff! I love the perfection and cleanliness of the hanger and your work. The Truck is so "Hanger Clean"! Man what a set up to work in. Enjoy that man, no one could imagine how that must feel to work there and around that.

Very well done Sir. The Dodge WC is a great piece to accompany the Jeep. The work done on the C53's cockpit is second to None. The team has done a fantastic job!

The attachments won't open because they don't have a file extension on them (.jpg, .doc and such).

Beautiful stuff. The C-47 family of airplanes just look like they want to fly with that "perky" round nose pointing up!

Will that airframe ever fly again, or is it a museum restoration?

I also appreciate the radio rack with the ARC-5 transmitters and the three command receivers,, not to mention the "Gibson Girl" emergency radio in the yellow case.

Way to be! Love the excellence evident at every juncture. Will the jeep see a muddy, rocky, 4X4 needed track? Is it meant for show? A great example for certain.
