    51 willys truck

Hello all, Extremely lucky to find in a barn a "stored" 1951 willys 1 ton FWD ex gas station truck with F-134 engine that runs! Will be my winter project to do a frame up restore, not show, but a good dependable driver and kept original.

Very nice. The 1951 model year was the first year for the F134 engine and the new styling changes (the pointy grille). Under the hood is going to be interesting with the hydraulics for the plow.

Thank You all for the welcome.
Looking forward to this winter project. Recreating to do this summer, but when the weather turns bad, the fun starts.
Things I'm planning: 12 volt electrics, lockout hubs, electric wiper motor, dual reservoir brakes, and frame off rust repair. .....the rest to be kept as original as possible.
Oh, and possibly the removal of the push/plow front end and Hyd pump removal from the engine compartment....much more room and a plain chrome bumper
    front end.
