    47 cj-2a

    [FONT=Arial Black][/FONT

    Hope this is the right place to post but here goes. Have my 47 Cj reduced to many parts spread across the shop. Dealing with 75 years of mud and grease. Need to remove the axle shafts and the service manual calls for tool #C-637. What does that look like. Otherwise what method do you recommend to pull the axles.

    Thanks for your help.

    It looks something like these. This is a newer version created by WJP. https://www.willysjeepparts.com/Rear...aft_Puller.htm

    Thanks so much for your reply! I have a heavy duty slide hammer that I made and I will make something to fit tightly behind the axle nut and use my slide hammer. I was concerned about any potential damage and will be careful with the threads on the axle.

    Thanks
