Lightweight Cover for M38A1 (short term/waterproof) while at Farm/Cabin?

We have a family cabin we stay at one week a year. It’s in MS, hot as hell, humid, extremely dusty, and we usually have rain on/off while we are there. I have never had a top on my 1953 M38A1 and parking is just under a tree. I’d love to buy a packable/lightweight cover to keep the rain out if an afternoon shower pops up. One that would be quick/easy to put on/off.

Any of you ever found a good solution for this? I’ve looked around, but would be open to any suggestions.

I could use a cover that would go on Windshield up or down.

I have used these types. There are a few brands out there. They are a very thin material. I use them at the car shows just in case it starts to rain. You need to run a rope from the front to the back in the middle of the vehicle, windshield up, to make a roof line. I wouldn't let the rain puddle on it. If you use any lightweight type cover like this, it will need to be tightly bound if it gets windy. The PEVA or Dacron covers are a little better if your going to be in the sunlight.
