Thanks for all the input... and good information on "future leaks" for me. Well I hope not!

I think for starters I'll just replace the oil pan. Last October I did up the bolts. Some were considerably loose, but I don't feel like I overtightened them. What is the proper torque setting for the pan? I guess I can look it up. I'm just sitting drinking coffee. Should be working on the jeep...

Do they make pampers in Jeep size?
I wish I could just rig up something temporarily. I actually recognized the "puddle signature" in the parking lot where I meet for cycling. It was still there from a few weeks ago!

One solution, a body might could just gravel the home parking area. And, as for the daily puddle in several locality parking slots, pro tip, simply select the same slot and vehicle orientation each excursion to keep your markings aligned and always fresh for public enoyment!

Watch out Mark you might run afoul of the EPA! Yes there are Diapers for your motor. The ones I am thinking of are used in Drag Racing, but why not under your Jeep? Just kidding, I think they are way to expensive for what you are trying to do and not really meant for that. You could always bring a large aluminum baking pan along to throw under it when you stop.

I have a smaller size drip pan. Since the engine leak is centralized, I may bring bring that pan along. it will fit neatly under my original upholstery rear bench seat too.
But I loved my Pampers idea!

With Pampers on my engine, it gives a whole new meaning to "changing the oil."
