What happened? Oh man jb, your deep inside already. One thing about injector pumps, no matter what they are in, they are Expensive!

Hopefully it means upgrade! You always need more horses.

Regardless, it is very pretty now. I'm sure the governor springs have been upgraded for better performance.

Pump I had wasn’t fueling the turbos; so had to do a swap. In order to swap the pump/front cover, it requires pulling rocker assemblies, tying up the lifters and oulling the cam-just because the cam gear is welded to the cam. Just time and money.

I hope to turn some wrenches on it today. Had an exhaust leak at the manifold to head. Took the manifold and had it surfaced. IMG_5392.jpg

    Just some upgrades and repairs.

I’ve had it on the highway but unable to get any fuel out of the pump I had on it/no boost/ wouldn’t spool the turbos up.

What kind of lift pump do you have on it jb? Are you feeding that injector pump with fuel? I have seen similar issues with bigger boost. The injector pump definitely needs to have a steady pressurized supply.

It sure sounds like the issues are minimal on such a complex build. Nice jb, real nice!

Makes sense. Those turbos would definitely need some more fuel to feed the air flow. CAT cams are the same way. We had a couple of hundred 3126 engines that came through us that we had to pull the cams in order to re-seal the front covers. When we mounted the alternator and engine mounts, it would break the seal on the anaerobic sealer, and cause a nagging occasional drip.
