Compound turbo's are definitely a modern hot rod diesel thing. Looks right at home in that '56 in a Mad Max sort of way!

Now, do we get to see the spiked hair, leather vest, multi-piercings and tattoos?
(I'm joking...). Jeep guys would never do something like that, would we?

More of the non-glamorous side of this project...
Give me a few days and I will share the results of grinding, welding, cutting, filing, measuring, measuring again, sipping bourbon, more welding, etc etc......
Late nights are the best, through the week. Radio off and in the ‘zone’.
About ready to put the welder up for a few YEARS!!
Yeah, it is not glamorous, but when you are done it will look like something off of the front of a FW-190 or a Corsair - it will look like it grew there.
Definitely the part that separates the men from the boys. The turbo plumbing is artwork.

Well, :-)
Did a little more work to the Willys this weekend. Is it a ‘love it or hate it’ Idea? Once everything is done(light bar install) I’m hoping it will ‘fit’ per sa.
Item # next, light bar install.

OMG JB that is a Work of Art for sure!!!!
I'm a huge fan of your vision. I really like the way the intake and exhaust turned out. It puts me in mind of the MRAP Cougars were that we built in 2007-2009 were set up. The exhaust was run the length of the roof with a wrap to cut down on a heat signiture.
Great job!
