Came across a couple outside door handdles in good shape. And, has the key pod. Just need to see if I can make a key.

Glad you are feeling better! A key should be pretty easy since you can take the handle to a lock smith, or you might get lucky and find a key in your junk drawer.... We all have that drawer that all the lose keys end up.

    Two things:

    A. The innards can get work pretty badly - you may need the overhaul kit.

    https://www.kaiserwillys.com/outside...-station-wagon

    B. The handles mount to the door with a couple of screws at the back. The receptacles for those screws take all of the pulling and tugging when you slam the door. Those threads can be worn and it is difficult to get the screws to stay tight. Loose screws make a rattle right at your elbow - annoying.

But you may not even hear it with those turbos.

Good to hear you mended from the various "cruds" circulating!

I am pretty sure LockDawg can get you a key. https://lockdawg.com/classic-car-locksmith/ There shouldn't be much trouble getting a key made or, the handles restored.

You guys are SO helpful. Very grateful at that.

Im out here whiskey whispers, deciding, pondering on how I am going to mount a 3rd brake light. I will share once done but just know I’m not afraid to charter my own way with something:-). Warned:-)

I always liked that third light inside behind the glass. Do you have that option available jb? Anywhere you put it its going to look Mod on the Willys.
