    Fuel Burn

    Hello Kaiser Forum,

I ran my 47 2A 55 miles on flat roads with 65% of the time doing 55MPH. Does 43.1 MPG sound accurate? I'm having a blast with this Jeep in Southern California. The lifeguards are exactly thrilled with me sneaking on the beaches for photos. LOL

Nope it certainly does not sound right! However having a blast on the beach in California is very correct.

Redo the math NAGC..... Look for something more around 10 to 15. If you get more than 20, you are going in the book as a record for a flathead with 6 to 1 compression!

    That jeep is a beauty!

That's what I was thinking. The motor has low compression on the #4, 2 cracked valve springs and judging by the crud I cleaned out of the oil pan, has never had an oil filter. I'm trying to destroy it, but the motor just won't die!!
