    Interesting Merger

Quietly in the background, there has been a major combination of businesses that could have a major impact on the Jeep world:

    https://www.kaiserwillys.com/walcks-...s-auto-supply/

Kaiser-Willys and Walcks are now one company. Each one did a lot of the same things, but then they each had different specialties.

Let's hope that the the new enterprise keeps the best of both worlds.

Wow! This is a good thing. Walcks has a few things that I could not find elsewhere. It is great to see KW is picking it up. KW does a great job with customer service.

Back when I was restoring the '48, Walck's had unique sheet metal parts for the FC 150 and FC 170 Mugly Other Jeeps. I don't know if they kept that source or not.

I have purchased a few specialty parts from Walcks among a couple other specialty sources. I commend Kaiser Willys for stepping up to the plate and continuing the Walcks brand in conjunction to their own, instead of just buying him out and letting the brand be absorbed without a trace. There has been a couple of companies that have come and gone with either them downsizing to handle reproduction bodies, or just disappeared altogether.
