The paint match cameras work really well. I had to have the right front fender replaced on my Monte Carlo that was painted silver metallic. They put the scanner on the fender and it matched perfectly. The scanner makes concessions for paint fade, because the original factory paint code was too dark.

I should’ve mentioned this Jeep is supposed to resemble the OSU color scheme when we are finished with it, so we left the body gray and the full cage (when completely built), the wheels and some other pieces/parts are all going to get powder coated the scarlet red color.

Yep, the reign is over. Time for the Bucks to have a chance.

Making a little ahead way this week, got the top frame all mounted up, tilt steering column installed, motor set in with headers bolted on and the clutch/brake pedals mounted up with the clutch linkage situated where it is supposed to be verses where it was in the 58 CJ.

Now it's time to take the windshield and plate we made for the dash to mount the tilt column and get them powder coated to match the windshield frame hinges.

Mounting the rear bumper up to hold the spare tire is going to be nothing short of an "Engineering Nightmare" only because it was designed to fit a 86 YJ..............

Full Roll cage fab starts next week mounted to the frame in 4 spots.

Well we got the rear bumper/ spare tire carrier mounted this past week along with most of the cage bent and tacked together, sending the cage and windshield off to get powder coated later this week.
