    Foot starter clip

    Rebuilt my 46 Jeep Trucks L134, upon installation it looks like the gremlins needed 1 of the bracket clips more than me, clips are half moon that bolts to top of bell housing and holds ( don't know proper name) appreciate any help in locating

    Tom, you have a tough one there. I did see a bell housing with the starter shaft supports still bolted to it. I have not seen any reference to just those supports. I think you will find them fairly easy to fabricate. Some one with a TIG welder should be able to weld a bushing to a piece of strap. Those supports are unique to Willys Trucks with a foot starter. The early Chevy Trucks used a similar setup.

    I think this bell housing has the foot starter clips you need. The seller may be willing to sell you just the clips? Good luck:
