New-Old Willys Jeep guy

Greetings
My first Willys Jeep was a 1961 2wd wagon my dad gave me when I was 13
it needed a lot of work and I learned much about fixing and repairing cars.
I drove through high school and regret letting it go.

I’m a retired aircraft tec, I worked on small private jets for 48 years. I enjoyed my job but my true love is old cars and trucks.

I picked up a 1962 Willys Jeep pickup in the early 90’s drove it until 1998 and it sat till last May when I began a total restoration.
My goal is to bring it back as original as I can but I’m not against making it better with small modifications.

I look forward to sharing ideas and experiences with the group

Very cool Dave! A few aircraft guys on the forum. As you will see, there is a great love for the Willys Pickup. You are really going to enjoy that one. The Willys pickups are my favorite.

I understand very well, I’ve been on many sites and I don’t post very often.
