    Ford GPW Restoration - 1944

Currently working on a GPW restoration - purchased the vehicle for $700 last Spring... Found that it had many parts stamped with the Ford "F", combination type body, a circular depression on the lock box, with the tool indentations on the body. The GPW is now disassembled and restoration is in progress... Anyone familiar with the "combination-type" body? Worth keeping / repairing or should we put a (new) replacement body back in?

I have something similar. Half of me says throw it away but the other half knows it will run soon.

Hi. I would keep the original body as they are worth a few $. Could you post a few more photos of the body ie front and rear floors also both sides and rear panels
