    Red face New Member New Jeep Owner

    Hi Every One,

    My Name is Frank Just bought my First Jeep, Its a 1970 CJ5... good year ... the year I graduated from Highschool.

    Its pretty good shape for old jeep... look forward to getting it in better shape and goin Flyfishin, and Camping... I am not.... a rock crawler person... so I will be lowering it some... to High off Ground and I am Getting to old to climb in.. hihi.... Thanks for Having me on the Forum

    Welcome Frank, I am also not a rock climbing guy but will be doing some off road trails. Would love to see a pic of your Jeep if you have one.

    1970 kaiser jeep cj5 235 dauntilus v6 33.5 tires 4" lift 3spd t90 transm. t18 Transfer, dana44 rear, dana 25 front. Soft Top no overdrive !

    Welcome to the Forum Frank! I can't wait to see some pictures of your CJ-5! I was just in Colorado two weekends ago, we were skiing at Vail and Keystone. It's gorgeous there right now! It's such a difference from South Carolina, the first day I could hardly get a full breath in because of the elevation difference.
