New here. Just bought a 1955 Willys

I'm sure I got in over my head, but this is an exciting time. I hope to stop by here and grab some advice from everyone from time to time. I hope to get it all finished in 5 years.

4x4 truck. It's drivable, but needs work. My first order of business is to replace the bed and rear fenders. I believe the engine is the original inline 6.

Cool I also have a pickup. Has a straight 6 as well but a GM motor. Do you have any photos?

It's the only one I have on this computer at the moment. Just ordered a bed from a 62 to swap out. Hope I fits!

I believe it was originally red and they painted it yellow. I'm debating whether to take it back to a red or try a nice classy dark green. Not military green, maybe more like british racing green or a tad darker.

When I bought mine it was olive drab. The inside was still the original color which is the green you are talking about. I am trying a charcoal grey of sorts. Haven't really gotten to that point yet.
