Hi everyone! New to forum 1959 CJ5, from Central Queensland in Australia!

Bought this Jeep a few weeks ago, from a farmer who was using it as a way to get around his property, and for hunting. I know NOTHING about cars, but am hoping to teach myself the basics! I work a lot, so very much going to use this as a means to decrease stress! It's currently in the shop, as I needed water pump replaced. Will post more photos and details once I get it back! Will definitely be asking for help and pointers, and enjoy what I have seen on the forum already.

    Finally got her back

Got the beast back from the shop today, it was indeed a water pump as was suggested to me, and a few small leaks in radiator. Took her for a spin today, brakes are barely working.

Got some more pics at least. Going to do some research tonight!

Also have facebooked locally trying to get someone to give me a hand to look at brakes, maybe for a few beers I can get some one to teach me (I am a publican, so have access to beer!). As I said previously, I do not have a mechanical bone in my body ahaha.

    Few holes in the muffler

Bit of rust in tool box, probably going to replace as I would like somewhere to put some things safely.
