Here are two references that basically agree in their information.
https://www.jeepfan.com/tech/decodin...ers-1955-1971/
https://www.4-wheel-parts.de/en/info...ber-41-71.html
Both agree that the 1965 CJ-6 should have a 13 digit serial number, not just the 9 digits you show. You are missing some numbers. But, the 9 digits do give some information about your CJ-6's configuration:
First two digits 84 Designates a CJ-6
Second two 05 Open body
Fifth 2 Smog reduction
Sixth 6 Drive designation, only digits 1,2 or 3 are assigned. 6 is not valid
Seventh 7 V6-255 engine with emission controls
Eight thru thirteen 42xxx Sequential serial number- missing digits
Good Luck – post us a picture of your Portuguese Jeep.

Good Morning.
First of all I would like to thank you for the answer.
My serial number only has these numbers.
I can hardly go for a photo of the serial number plate.
Thank you

Welcome Fernandoportugal!,,
Your CJ6 may have been produced in one of three locations outside of the U.S., South Africa/Volkswagen, Brazil/Ford, or Australia/Ford. This may account for the serial number difference from the information that we have. I haven't been able to verify my theory, but that is my hunch.
Please post some pictures, for we would love to see your rig!
