I just purchased a 1958 Willys Jeep pickup. Woo hoo! The engine runs pretty well (does need some work), the body is in pretty good shape, and it is only rusted through on the driver-side floor and in one corner of the bed. I intend to restore it, but it will probably be a while. I want to get the engine running smooth, and the brakes working right (will replace the master cylinder). I plan to have some fun with this!
Welcome to the forum. I think you should clear coat it as it sits. I dont normally say that but from the pic it looks like your has the perfect petina.
A lot of people tell me I should keep the patina. It does look cool, but I would like to repaint it someday. It's going to be a while, so the patina will be around!
