I think you have the worst scenario possible, a nightmare so to speak. It is a part of you and it is made by you for you. Kinda like selling an arm. But then again, it could make you a very tidy sum! I wonder if the loss could be covered by a $750,000 bid?

I can fully understand the attachment with your project. There is no amount of money that anyone could offer that would make me consider selling my 2A. Now my ongoing wagon project, if the right money showed up, I might consider it. It would have to be a pile of cash. Much more than the actual value of the project. Too much time and effort invested to just let it go.

The next month will be exciting to watch your project come back together.

Instead of buying, decided we will just make our own.

Let me introduce the year2022 model of the 1956 Willy’s Wagon sliding window lock/knob:-)

I will be interested in a set for my project. The knobs will add a nice flair.

That's LarrBeard's favorite art form.... scrap metal welded up and painted and left on a lawn somewhere! Just kidding, I don't think LarrBeard is a fan! Definitely doesn't take a lot of thought. The scrap sculpture does appear to attract tax dollars.

Now jb's wagon.... That is truly art! The art of mechanics, the art of the welder, the art of the creator! That thing just keeps getting better. Fantastic work jb!
