62 CJ5 134 F Head Fuel Pump Eccentric
I'm reinstalling my double action mechanical fuel pump and having a heck of a time. I thought I paid attention during removal but obviously I missed something. Does the fuel pump arm rest on top of the cam/eccentric or below? I couldn't get the bolt holes to line up. The pump was sitting too high in regard to the mounting holes on the engine. Seems to me (going by the design on the fuel pump actuator) that it would ride on top of the eccentric. I haven't turned the engine or anything like that since I removed the pump. In case you're wondering, I had to remove the fuel pump in order to replace the old oil line with a flexible one.

Roll the engine over until the cam lobe is off the fuel pump lever. It will slide together from there.
