With the interwebs a strong tool these days, a bad rep spreads like wild fire. I hate the 3 grand ouch, but Bmorgil is right. The bones are there to make you a sweet runner, but now it will cost double to make it right. Sorry my friend.

    A. Drop a line to the BBB. There is a difference between a warranty and a misrepresentation. He misrepresented this as a functional remanufactured engine.

    B. Go out and scream at the sky like the snowflakes do. You've probably already cussed a blue streak - maybe just to yourself.

    C. As the Eagles say .."Get over it.."

    D. Build the engine you really wanted and count yourself lucky that POS isn't sitting in that exceptional Jeep!

    E. Keep us informed - you're starting to build The Legend that goes with every Jeep Project.

("Let me tell you about the missing head bolt under the carburetor...")

    To the “3 Wise Men”
Thanks for the Encouragement Guys, I think after I cool down a little I will creep around the web to see if they have a Facebook page or any place on their web page and secretly make some pretty negative comments about their Half Fast commitment to produce a “Rebuilt Engine”.
God works in mysterious ways, my engine guy at Pro Car told me to keep an eye out for HD Steel shelving for his shop and just so happens I have 7 or 8 semi loads that I bought CHEAP at a auction 2 weeks ago, so my problem is solved, he said we’ll do some horse trading on a complete rebuild of a 4.1 252 c.i. Buick V-6...
Problem solved, but I’m not quite done with Fraser Engine Rebuilders!!!!
P.S. I’ll post some pictures if you know of anyone looking for HD shelving.

    "Rasslin with a pig"

[QUOTE I’m not quite done with Fraser Engine Rebuilders!!!! [/QUOTE]

Fighting with an organization like Fraser is like 'rasslin with a pig:

    A. It's hard to get hold of

    B. It screams to high heavens that you're picking on it

    D. You get bruised, bitten and muddy

    E. In the end, the pig enjoyed the attention!

I'm glad those loads of shelves turned out to be useful at the right time! Horse trading does have a real satisfying feeling to it.

In my last home shop, I had bought enough pallet racking to encircle three walls. Two walls I had cut down the racking to a proper work bench height, then plated it with 1/4" boiler plate, (made a very durable surface, but I should have put plywood underneath because it would ring like a bell when striking it with a hammer). The corner and side wall went up 12' for storage. I had engines and transmissions all palletized for storage, then drivelines in their respective places. The back corner was where the pool table was stowed when not in use, then the next shelf up was my snowmobile during the summer months. If I recall correctly, I had $300. in all the shelving, then the boiler plate was a horse trade. Shelving is a great asset to have laying around!

You'll find satisfaction that you ended up with a motor that is right and reliable. Problems end up having their own solutions hidden underneath.

Yeah, but I'd still kind of like to go a round with that pig.
