    and that is "*** out of u and me" maybe id i did some more investigating would not be taking it all apart, but when you look at the handle assembly one side bolts down and one side allow the connecting arm between the two pivot points to attach and there was even a hole in floor that the connecting piece fit so great in.... not first time i gorped something up that have to correct and for sure am getting the two anti rattle pieces to go in also

    was able to dig this up, the tool box, corner is where the base for the handle goes. HOWEVER THE TOOL OX I GOT HAS A ROUNDED CORNER, GUESS GOING TO HAVE TO GET CREATIVE IN PLACING THE HANDLE BASE

    Your tool box is correct. Do you have the holes indexed for the mount? If not, no big deal. Drill it out and reach in and put nuts on the hardware.

    HAVE TO DRILL, but sure is a difference in tool box in manual and the one i bought? told my grandson sometimes putting on three bolts turns into a four hour deal

    The only real difference in the military and the civilian tool box is the Jeep script on the front riser panel, (at the passengers heels). Then the radio equipped jeeps had a tab at the right corner for the coms harness.
